I can't remember if I've ever posted about this but I really want to see Sara at a Canterwood Crest style boarding school, but the age she is in the show.
Canterwood Crest by Jessica Burkhart is a series about 12--14 year old girls going to *Horse Boarding School*. With *Horse Boarding School Drama* I read these when I was definitely not the target age, lol.
Imagine Sara surrounded by horses every day. The students are all horse crazy. There are horse shows and competitions. The drama is horse related. She'd probably easily slot into a group of girls, especially if Felice is there. Horse boarding school would obviously still have the rules and rigidity that comes with such an expensive lifestyle, and Sara seems into that.
Sara with a cool roommate at horse boarding school? Sara eating a nice Saturday dinner at horse boarding school? Sara riding HORSES at horse hoarding school??
Gimme the drama, gimme the upset, gimme the horses!
(Okay yes, I badly photoshopped this right after writing this post. it's for *Illustration*)
#young royals#time for a CWC reread? maybe#In the books there is a character names Jacob#he becomes like a romance figure#and I know a lot of you don't ship Sargust#But I'm imagining August striding in on his horse with sunglasses on#(he has a horse in this universe I've just decided)#And he's all cocky and stuff#and yeah this is a totally different story than the one I was writing about#But like#He has *pressures* and stuff#and then he panics one day#and sara uses all her horse de-spooking powers to despook him....#ANYWAY#Sara at horse boarding school please#Okay and now I may have badly photoshopped sara into one of the covers#it's taken hollld

Tbh the best thing for a Kuruna blog, aside from being half-story serious and half-silly, is the fact that I do plan to have the words and actions of others being possible to effect her ;w;. Being able to change the course of her path or have her persist on continuing through her path with pride, depending on who and what causes the mindset! It would even be to the point of actions being the choice of her evolution, but if it is decided near the far future of the paths leading to her to evolve. There will be a path where she doesn't evolve at all. It truly does depends and I will have fun with it :3c. And yes, I have been playing around with a multitude of outcomes in my head! Also Also
I do plan to reread through a lot of blogs. Because, from both Kuruna and @ask-the-abomination ocs, I really would love to think up more properly of better asks >w<. I am not someone who often ask questions in general ( Not a ask blog thing. This was like this waaayyyy before I knew of this community x3 ). Which I guess led to struggling to really think up of any good questions ;;w;; Nothing traumatic or bad happen that made me struggle to come up with a question. It was just something that kid me never really had try to do. I only vaguely remember this but I think I had a consistent streak in the far past of being stubborn and would try to find out answers myself, instead of asking the question to help with that xd. That's all I remember. I feel that there is more to that but, as hard as I am trying to remember, my brain draws a blank @-@.
Also hope all is alright with my Kuruna fixation qwp. She really has become a character that I've grown great attachment to and been having really fun times drawing her! Like I even have burst of art motivations after I have drawn her >w<! But, at the same time, I keep having that artistic urge to just draw more of her instead of other things cwc"""

split your heart, posted in february.
my last few months of 2019 were pretty rough, and i think i took a december hiatus? i didn’t actually get back into the swing of writing until after january! and i came back with an ANGST obviously!!
02: most recent creation of 2020
paint by numbers, posted in december.

03: one of your fave creations from 2020
i’m going to BREAK the rules and mention two fics, okay? okay. i would definitely say fireflies, my prince!seokmin au <3 enemies to lovers makes makes my heart flutter + because i love you, posted for jun’s bday! those r like... my comfort fics which r among the few of my works i can actually reread :_)
04: a creation you’re really proud of
CONNECT! this is my cyborg!au for vernita :-) i’ve always wanted to write an au of this sort but i could never get it quite right! then one day, the writing gods bestowed upon me this miraculous edge for writing sci-fi. WHO KNOWS WHERE THAT CAME FROM bc i don’t /// anyways, i luv the connect universe!
05: a new style that you tried this year and a work that used it
my style legit changes per every fic i write so i CANNOT answer this!
06: a creation that took forever
okay everyone already knows the answer to this IWFJEURF but of course it’s going to be honeyboy for mingyu ;_; that 54k behemoth!! i think it took me five months to complete + an extra month that went toward proofreading.
07: your creation from 2020 that received the most notes
fireflies, my prince!seokmin au. i think it’s abt ten notes away from 1k? which is verycrazy verycrazy. i honestly thought not many ppl were going to read that fic bc i don’t seem like the type to write royalty au’s! so i was shockt.
08: a creation you think deserved more notes
probably second life, my ghost!au for woozi! but it’s got some very serious/sensitive topics so i definitely wouldn’t push ppl to read this story!
09: a new fandom you joined and a creation you made for it
honestly, i didn’t join any new fandoms this year! i rly do not have the excess time like i once did ;_; i can only focus on svt and even then i slip so much! i also need to make time for myself bc there r many things i need to improve on. it’s partly the reason my presence on this site has declined a lot BUT no need to worry i always try to make time for my blog bc it’s very important to me!
10: a creation you made that breaks your heart.
NONE! my heart is unbreakable! just kidding. hmmmmm but honestly i rly do not know! i guess second life? but i don’t know. but it could be! but prob not. OH WAIT nvm I JUST REALIZED I HAVE AN ANSWER forgive me i am stupidt. heat and heartbreak for chan!! mwhahahahahahaha. it’s a break up!au.
11: a simple creation that you really love.
nine in the morning, my fwb fic for my sweet prince, mr moon jun! this was actually a shorter piece (which could have totally blown into smth HUGE but eurhfwuehf no.... it’s soft, fluffy and to the point! very rare find over here, guys.
12: a creation inspired by someone else.
@chanhao-s time travel!au for jeonghan helped me form the plot for second life, and the fact that woozi’s spirit had been preserved from the last century. i just LOVE time travel stuff even though i would NEVER DO IT!!!!! omg.
13: a favourite creation made by someone else
i’ve been giving ficrecs like crazy on this blog and i’m sure those authors r so tired of me crawling into their mentions like a ferret off its leash. SO INSTEAD I WILL GUIDE YOU TO MY FICREC BLOG BC IT HAS SOME OF THE JEWELS AND GEMS OF THE CARAT WRITING COMMUNITY / @chocoreads / + more to be reblogged when i have the time to leave my unnecessarily detailed comments.

Book Review: Creative Writing Career
Last summer, I listened to the audiobook version of Creative Writing Career by Justin Sloan. I had been listening to the CWC Podcast for a couple months by then and had read Sloan’s first fantasy book Land of Gods, so I already knew a little about his background. I knew that he had worked as a writer for Telltale Games and had done some screenwriting as well, but it was his experience getting started writing fantasy novels that I most interested in.
In Creative Writing Career, Sloan writes about methods that can be used to build a successful writing career. He doesn’t get deep into the mechanics of writing itself. He leaves that to the many other writing books out there, but he offers recommendations on which ones to read, to learn everything from learning prose and structure to writing for television or video games.
In the first part of the book, Sloan writes about positioning yourself to become a full-time writer. He talks about staying focused and finding inspiration as well as getting an education on writing craft. Whether it’s through formal college courses in the classroom setting or online, joining a writing group, or self-study, there are many options available to anyone who wants to improve as a writer.
About half of the book contains interviews with other writers who talk about how they got started and what recommendations they have for anyone seeking a successful writing career. Some of them are authors of novels, but Sloan also interviews screenwriters, video game writers, and non-fiction authors. Most of them have experience in multiple writing fields. While I really just want to write novels, I still found a lot of value from the other interviews.
Creative Writing Career is the second book on writing that I’ve read or listened to since I decided to become a writer myself. After I first listened to it, I thought it was good, but didn’t feel I knew enough about creative writing or had read enough on the topic to give a valid review.
So I waited. I read several other books, and I took an Introduction to Creative Writing course through SNHU. One of the things I found was that, although I enjoy listening to audiobooks, it’s good to own hardcopies of any that you might want to reference later on. So, I ordered the paperback version of Creative Writing Career. I like to reference it sometimes when I’m having a hard time writing, and I’ve probably reread most of the book that way.
I rate Creative Writing Career five stars. It was really useful for me when I started developing my own career plan to become an author. I still have a long way to go, but I get inspired from learning about others who have done the same.
